Khun Siriwan Tanasit

Phuket Town · Records Organising

"We had papers from my late father's estate in a large cardboard box. Nobody in the family could face sorting it — we kept putting it off for two years. Parichat came to our house, worked through everything methodically and left us with a folder system that my brothers and I can all use. It was much less of an ordeal than we expected."

Chalong · Memory Archive

"My wife and I have lived in Phuket for eighteen years. We have boxes of photographs going back to the 1980s and a collection of items from her family in Chiang Rai. The Memory Archive Service took four sessions spread across six weeks. The finished archive is something we are genuinely proud of. The catalogue is clear and the images are high quality. Our children will have this when we are gone."

Rawai · Legacy Workshops

"My mother attended the Legacy Story Workshops with me. I had wanted to record her memories for some time but never quite found the right structure to do it. Wanida gave us both the space and the prompts to have conversations we had been putting off. The family tree template was something we found particularly useful — we had gaps we did not know existed. One workshop session ran slightly over time, but that was because we had a lot to say, not any fault of theirs."

Thalang · Records Organising

"Very professional and completely non-intrusive. I was hesitant about having someone go through my documents but Parichat was careful to explain exactly what she was doing and why at each step. The bilingual labels were a thoughtful touch — my husband reads Thai better than English so this made the folders accessible for both of us. We had a full session done in one day."

Kamala · Memory Archive

"Somkiet handled my wife's collection of antique letters and photographs from her grandmother's household in Nakhon Si Thammarat with remarkable care. The descriptions he wrote for the catalogue were accurate and contextually appropriate — he clearly listened carefully to what we told him about each item. The archive is now something my children in Europe can access and add to."

Phuket Town · Legacy Workshops

"I booked the Legacy Story Workshops for myself — I am 68 and wanted to record my memories before they became harder to access. Wanida was patient and gave me space to go at my own pace. I found the sessions meaningful. My only note would be that I would have liked a little more time in the first session, but the overall experience was worthwhile and the materials I took away are something I will keep."

Case Studies

Three families, three different needs

These accounts give a fuller picture of how each service works in practice.

The Challenge

A household estate with two decades of unsorted papers

A Thai family in Thalang had accumulated twenty years of household documents across multiple family members. Property records were mixed with old school certificates, outdated insurance policies and photographs from three generations. Nobody knew exactly what was held or where.

The Solution

Personal Records Organising — one full-day session

Lineara spent a full day sorting the collection into clearly labelled categories: property, insurance, household, personal identity and miscellaneous. Digital backups were created on the family's existing external drive. A bilingual index sheet was prepared to allow both Thai and English-speaking family members to locate documents.

The Outcome

A maintainable system, in one day

The family received an organised folder set, a digital copy of every document and a written guide to the system. A year later, they confirmed the system was still being maintained. "It took less than a day. I do not know why we waited so long."

The Challenge

Two hundred years of family photographs with no context

A retired British couple in Kamala had three large boxes of photographs spanning from the 1920s to the present day. Many were unlabelled. They wanted to preserve them and pass something meaningful to their children and grandchildren — not just a hard drive of unorganised files.

The Solution

Memory Archive Service — four sessions over seven weeks

Somkiet conducted four on-site sessions, scanning and photographing every item. During each session, the family provided context for the photographs they recognised, which was recorded as part of the catalogue. Where dates could not be confirmed, approximate periods were noted. The archive was structured by decade and by family branch.

The Outcome

A complete, shareable family archive

The family received a 312-item catalogue with descriptions, a full digital archive organised by folder and the physical collection returned in the same condition as received. "Our daughter in Amsterdam has already started adding captions on her end. It has become a family project."

The Challenge

A grandmother wanting to record her story before memories faded

A 71-year-old woman in Rawai had lived through significant historical events in southern Thailand and wanted to record her memories and family history. Her daughter was concerned that this would be left undone, as it had been for years, but the mother found it difficult to begin on her own.

The Solution

Legacy Story Workshops — three sessions at her home

Wanida ran three two-hour sessions at the family home in Rawai. The workshops used structured prompts to guide recollections of family history, significant events and cherished objects. Both mother and daughter attended and found that the workshop format helped them have conversations they had not had before.

The Outcome

A recorded family history and renewed connection

The family left with completed templates, a family tree spanning four generations and their own notes and recordings. "I had been thinking about doing this for years. The workshop gave us a reason to actually sit down and do it."
