Please read these terms carefully before using our website or engaging Lineara's services. By proceeding, you confirm that you have read and agree to the terms set out below.

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following words have the meanings given below:

  • "Lineara" / "we" / "us" / "our" — the business operating under the name Lineara, located at 77 Thalang Road, Mueang, Phuket 83000, Thailand.
  • "Service" — any of the personal records organisation, legacy story workshop or memory archiving services offered by Lineara.
  • "User" / "you" / "your" — any individual who visits our website or engages our services.
  • "Website" — the site at lineara.club and all associated pages.
  • "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with any service confirmation we send you.
  • "Content" — all text, images and materials published on the Website by Lineara.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or enquiring about or purchasing a Service, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement
  • You have read, understood and accept these Terms in full

If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the Website or request any Service.

3. Service Description

Lineara provides the following personal organisation and archiving services to individuals and families:

  • Personal Records Organising — helping families gather and arrange their own personal papers into a clear, labelled system with digital backups.
  • Legacy Story Workshops — reflective, educational sessions on recording family stories, mapping family trees and noting cherished belongings. Purely informational.
  • Memory Archive Service — cataloguing and digitising heirlooms, photographs and documents into a lasting personal archive.

Scope limitation: Lineara's services are strictly personal organisation and educational in nature. We do not provide legal, financial, tax, estate planning or any other advisory services that require a professional licence. Nothing in the delivery of our services constitutes professional advice of any kind.

Services are available primarily in the Phuket region of Thailand. Availability elsewhere is subject to separate agreement.

4. Your Responsibilities

When using the Website or engaging a Service, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when enquiring or booking
  • Ensure that any documents or materials you share with us belong to you or that you have the right to share them
  • Not misuse the Website in any way that could damage, impair or overburden it
  • Not use the Website to transmit any unlawful, harmful or misleading content
  • Notify us promptly if your contact details change during a service engagement

You understand that Lineara's services are supportive and organisational only. Any decisions you make regarding your personal or estate documents remain entirely your own responsibility.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, images, the Lineara name and logo, and organisational frameworks — is owned by or licensed to Lineara and is protected under applicable intellectual property law.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the Website for personal use. You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any Content without our prior written consent.

Documents, photographs and personal materials that you provide to us in connection with a Service remain your property at all times. We handle them strictly for the purpose of delivering the requested service.

6. Payment Terms

Service pricing is as listed on our website and confirmed in writing before any work begins. All prices are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and include applicable local taxes unless stated otherwise.

  • A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your appointment
  • Full payment is due on or before the date of service completion
  • Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking

Cancellations and refunds: If you need to cancel a booked service, please let us know as early as possible. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before a scheduled session will receive a full refund of any deposit paid. Later cancellations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and we will always endeavour to find a fair resolution.

7. Service-Specific Terms

In addition to the general terms above, the following apply to each service:

Personal Records Organising

  • All work is carried out at your premises or at a location agreed with you
  • Digital backups are provided to you; Lineara does not retain copies after delivery
  • The scope and estimated duration will be confirmed in advance

Legacy Story Workshops

  • Workshops are educational and informational in nature; no professional advice is offered
  • Sessions may be held in-person or remotely, as agreed at booking
  • Workshop materials provided are for personal use only

Memory Archive Service

  • All original documents and heirlooms are handled with care and returned to you upon completion
  • Digital archives are delivered to you on agreed media; we do not retain copies after delivery
  • Timelines will be agreed in advance based on the volume of materials

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided "as is" to assist with personal records organisation and family archiving. We make no representation that our services will meet your specific requirements beyond what is described and agreed at booking.

Nothing on this Website or in the delivery of our services constitutes legal, financial, tax or estate planning advice. We strongly encourage you to consult a qualified professional for any matters requiring licensed expertise.

We take care with your documents and materials, but we cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing damage, deterioration or loss attributable to the condition of items at the time they were provided to us.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Lineara's total liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service to which the claim relates.

We are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special losses, including but not limited to loss of data (beyond what was provided to us), business interruption or decisions made in reliance on our organisational services.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate a service engagement by giving reasonable written notice. If we terminate an engagement due to your breach of these Terms, no refund of any deposit paid will be due unless required by law.

Sections 5, 8, 9 and 11 of these Terms continue to apply after termination.

11. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall first be referred to informal resolution by written notice.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days of written notice, it shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Phuket Province, Thailand, unless both parties agree to mediation.

Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent interim relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

12. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with any written service confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between us.
  • Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: You may not transfer your rights under this Agreement without our prior written consent.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will place a notice on the homepage. Continued use of our Website or services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
