What exactly does Personal Records Organising include?

We work alongside you to gather your personal and estate-related papers — passports, property deeds, insurance schedules, household records and similar documents — and arrange them into a clearly labelled folder system. We also create a simple digital backup on a device or folder of your choosing. We do not advise on the contents, draft any documents or make any recommendations. The service is purely one of sorting, labelling and organising.

Do my original documents ever leave my possession?

No. Your originals remain with you throughout the entire process. When we scan or photograph documents to create digital copies, we do so in your presence at your home or a location of your choosing. Nothing is taken away, posted or stored on our own systems.

How long does a typical session take?

It varies considerably depending on how many papers a family holds. A Personal Records Organising session typically takes a half-day to a full day. Legacy Story Workshops run across two to four sessions of two hours each. The Memory Archive Service is the most thorough and may span several visits; we will give you a clear time estimate after an initial conversation.

Can you work with documents in Thai as well as English?

Yes. We regularly work with families who hold documents in both Thai and English. We can label and categorise papers in either language and create bilingual folder labels where that would be helpful for different family members.

Are prices fixed or do they vary by project size?

The listed prices — ฿3,900 for Personal Records Organising, ฿14,500 for Legacy Story Workshops and ฿33,000 for the Memory Archive Service — cover our standard scope. For families with an unusually large volume of papers or a particularly detailed archive project, we will discuss any adjustment openly before any work begins. You will always know the full cost in advance.

Do you offer any form of advice on wills, estates or legal matters?

We do not. Lineara is an organisational and educational service. We do not provide any advice on legal, financial, tax or estate planning matters, nor do we draft any legal documents. If you need such guidance, we would encourage you to speak with a qualified solicitor or financial adviser.
